A winter festival for the whole family delighted almost 1,000 guests – bonus for employees.
Last Saturday, SEHO Systems GmbH opened its doors to the public and invited people to a varied open day. Almost 1,000 guests took advantage of the opportunity and flocked to the company’s headquarters in Kreuzwertheim, Germany. The event was designed as an atmospheric winter festival and offered visitors not only a varied program and culinary highlights, but also exciting insights into modern production processes and attractive working conditions.
For the open day, SEHO transformed itself into a wintry dream world with festively decorated stalls that created a cozy Christmas atmosphere on the factory premises. From handmade decorative items to individual gift ideas – visitors found a wide selection and were able to get in the mood for the upcoming celebration. Sweet and savory delicacies, steaming mulled wine and fresh waffles provided a cozy warmth in the inner courtyard of the company premises, where fire barrels also rounded off the atmosphere.
The little visitors also had fun with a varied entertainment program. Santa Claus himself distributed gifts, while the Faulbach marching band and the Roettbach marching band provided musical highlights and made the open day an unforgettable experience.
All proceeds from the open day will be donated to clubs in the region and non-profit organizations.
Anyone who wanted to find out more about the modern production processes at SEHO had the opportunity to explore the production area during the factory tours or on their own. Here, guests were able to experience first-hand how modern production processes are used to produce innovative, technologically leading soldering systems and automation technology. SEHO places particular emphasis on sustainability and environmental compatibility, which is also reflected in the expansion of the photovoltaic system this year. The company’s goal is to produce the energy needed where it is needed, relying on clean energy from the sun. SEHO employees explained the production concept to visitors during the factory tours and answered questions, which led to an intensive exchange.
Various SEHO departments also presented themselves in short videos to give guests a comprehensive insight into the company’s diverse areas of activity – from research and development, to administrative departments, to sales and logistics.

Innovative not only in the products it produces, but also as an employer, SEHO relies on modern working models such as the mobile office and flexible working hours, thus ensuring a good work-life balance. Some time ago, the company introduced a 4-day working week in the manufacturing and logistics departments and thus became a pioneer in the region.

Markus Walter, C.E.O., is enthusiastic about the success of the open day. “It was a great opportunity for us to introduce our company to the public and at the same time provide insights into modern manufacturing processes. The interest, especially in the recruiting information stand, shows that we also set standards as an employer.”
Lena Walter, authorized signatory, together with Ramona Albert, head of strategic purchasing and Larissa Hepp, head of human resources, put together a great event in a short time. “This was only possible because the entire staff got involved and actively helped out on the day of the event. A big thank you to a great team for that,” says Lena Walter.
The exhibited racing car from the TCR series and the fairing of a Mercedes AMG GT3, made entirely of carbon, by the company PreCAM from Kleinheubach, which is the latest addition to the SEHO Group, also caused a stir. In addition to repairing carbon parts in racing, PreCAM also has expertise in machining and 3D printing.
But that wasn’t the end of an exciting day for the employees at SEHO. In the evening, the company invited everyone to a big end-of-year party to celebrate an eventful year together. The new colleagues from PreCAM were also present in the evening with the entire workforce and clearly felt comfortable as new members of the SEHO family.
SEHO can look back on a very positive year despite a shortage of skilled workers and still acute material shortages in some areas. The ambitious sales target we set ourselves was already achieved in November and almost all of the internal projects to further develop the company were implemented. Lena Walter’s entry into the management board sets the course for the future and ensures an additional upswing in the company.
“You have all contributed to getting us to where we are today. Your individual contributions have shaped the success of the projects and the positive dynamics of the company,” says Markus Walter. As a thank you for this commitment, SEHO pays employees a generous bonus of 2,500 Euros with their December salary. In total, the company is distributing well over €500,000 to its employees.
With full order books and production capacity utilization well into the coming year, SEHO continues to grow and is heading into 2024 at full steam.
